Our company is a little screwy in that our insurance terminates the day you terminate. So what I can do now is sign up for COBRA. This means that I'm now paying 102% of the premium cost (the 2% is the "administrative fee") myself. There's nothing quite like being poor and needing specialty care to motivate you to find a new job.
