ikyrian | Ack!

What is it about this place that I cannot ever seem to get my times straight? Always I am either too early or too late or planning something on top of something else without even realizing it! Take today for example:

I get up at 8:30 because I have a lecture at 9:30, or so I think. I plan and I plan my day because I have a meeting with a presentation partner at 1:30 and want to make sure everything is squared away before I have to lose myself in the bowels of library searching for the ever elusive League of Cambrai references. So I think to myself: Ok, I have lecture at 9:30 which should last an hour to an hour and half, which gives me fifteen minutes to drop off my stuff at my room, grab some money and head out to the Student Union (a fifteen minute walk from my house), so that I may buy some lunch as I will not be able to get to Wessex and back before my 1:30 meeting. I also have a lecture at 12:00 to 1:00, which means I have to blitz through RU Being Served? to grab my sandwich and hightail it out of there to get to class on time. Which would give me thirty minutes to get over to the library and start researching a little more before I have a meeting.

That was what I had originally planned. Plans, however, do tend to change on me like a cross dresser on speed. It came to my attention this morning that my lecture is indeed, not at 9:30 but at 2:00, which completely cuts down on my meeting time, because it will take 15+ minutes to walk from the library to the house where I have lecture. Which leaves me back at square one: desperately searching for a way to tell my presentation partner this (a Goth who kinda looks like Travis only not...) and get out duties sorted out and still make it to lecture in good time. It was hard enough just to get this meeting arranged the first time. I agonized on how I would approach him, as he always has headphones on and walks damn fast! It's not like I have an email address! Arrrgh!

(And I need new icons, but the only program we have is Paint. Bah.)
