One of the Chorale members died in his sleep last night. I didn't know him well, but he always had a kind word when we spoke.

I've gone ahead and forwarded my resume to Brandy about the job in Austin. No clue how that'll work out, especially if I get it, but I'm willing to give it a go. My parents are less sure.

MOVE TO AUSTIN-IT'S AWESOME. Though, I have never gotten together with Brandy in the two years we've been here. But, whatever. It's a cool city! And if you work at Blizzard, you'll be working with Charlotte Whatley also! RMWC reunions!

I didn't know she was working with Blizzard! Wow...so if Heather gets the job there, perhaps we can turn it into an operation to take over the company, one Macon alumnae at a time...

That just means when you get back from Japan you'll have to come down to Austin as well. :P Just so we could get that ball rolling, don'cha'know.

That is one of the selling points - I know lots of people there, however peripherally. And that Austin is apparently a great place to live.

It's funny, I sent my resume to Brandy, and NOW people are calling me up about work here in DC. Why do they only call when I either a) already have a job or b) possibly thinking of getting a new job that would take me out of the area. Bastards.

Ha--the universe hates you, or something. But more job offers are always better than none, I guess. I don't know if that's the right tense...anyway. Good luck! And if you move here, maybe we can all actually get together!
