No matter what the vet says, never, ever clean out a ferret's ears by yourself. You should have at least one other person there, if only for morale support and the ability to say, "It's okay, it's okay, you're not killing him. You're helping him." So you look at said supporter incredulously and think, I WANT TO NOW...

Date: 2007-02-01 08:44 pm (UTC)Many years ago, we had a dog with a similar problem - had to put this white lotiony stuff inside her ears. She would shake her head, not fight us. Are your hands even use-able after doing battle with the ferrets?
