This is completely and wholely unacceptable. I don't expect much from you guys beyond a great education, fairly decent dorm rooms, and edible food, but this...this is unacceptable. For the love of GOD please please please turn on the hot water in Bell. I'm sick and tired of taking showers that are barely above room temperature. I'm sick of looking at the dial that says I should be boiling off my own skin and only getting lukewarm water. I don't ask for a lot, so please, for the love of SOMEONE turn on or turn up or whatever you need to do to get warmer water. I don't need sauna like conditions, just ten minutes of nicely warm water, as in, water that won't freeze someone's balls off, if they had balls. I mean, would having water that produced steam kill the budget?

Thank you,
Heather

I think I remember this happening in West once, and I walked to Main in my bathrobe and rubber flip-flops and took a perfectly lovely shower. I guess this would be a little more complicated given that your building doesn't connect to any others at night (and who wants to walk through the dining hall with wet hair?) Maybe you could find a friend who would be willing to let you borrow her room as a changing clothes/drying off base, or maybe you could call the other floor on your hall and ask them if the water is any better there. Apart from suggestions for coping mechanisms though, I agree it's ridiculous. I've never experienced cold water problems in any of my friends' or relatives' homes, or in any hotels I've stayed in. What makes R-MWC's plumbing system so different?
