Arrgh!

I hate oral presentations. I always feel underpreapred for them and ultimately like a total idiot. It doesn't help that I'm the only American in my class, and they kept looking at me funny. I would have thought that British college students would have been more mature, but I guess they're not. These two girls kept laughing at me the whole time. I'm a little shaken, and am glad the class was only an hour today instead of the two hour marathon that it normally is.

God I feel like an idiot right now. I hate Venetian history. *headdesk*

Number 1 fear of americans is talking in front of people. Number 2 is death. Don't fell akward at all.

I can see that - for a bunch of loud mouth assholes, we sure can be reticent about speaking in front of groups of people. And yet, for some, it's not so hard at all.

Even knowing this, however, I don't think the feeling will ever really go away. *sigh* Oh well, I guess it's something that I'll just have to get over.

BTW, um, who is this?

If it makes you feel any better, moments where I've felt like an idiot have been uncomfortably high, too. It's one of the prices you have to pay for being an exchange student. Though, I would like to hop over there for a minute and slap those girls.
