Yay for tornados!

Well, ok, not really. But what a way to end my miserable employment at Wal-Mart - stuck inside with a bunch of people in the middle of our store waiting for the tornado to hit. Whee. Luckily, it didn't touch down too close to us, and we were spared.

Where is my dad in all this? On the computer playing the game I got him for his birtday on the 12th. *shakes head* Prolly wouldn't even notice if the roof collapsed on his head.

And mom is of course, stuck at work, waiting for the tornados (yes plural - there have been multiple sightings!) to finally dissipate and leave her alone to come home.

But yes, tornados. *snicker* I find way to much amusement out of this. But it also showed me that I can be really commanding when I have to be (if only to get the idiotic costumers to f-in' move.

Wow, YAY FOR TORNADOS!!

We got out of school early (Public schools for intern teaching whatsits) due to tornado warnings though I don't think anything actually ever got close to Lynchburg.

I hope everyone up there will be okay. It seems so random to me that Manassas gets tornados.

Well, it's unusual, but not altogether rare that we get tornados. In fact, we have a another storm coming through right now. But I think we'll be OK. The basement will protect us *snicker*. =3 (That is *so* my favorite smiley right now.)

But yay for not having to go to school! I, on the other hand, had to spend eight miserable hours at work. Well, ok, the going away party wasn't miserable...but everything else...eh.

Yeah I can't say I can blame you for non-happy workness, because I was the same. But being there and having to deal with tornado weary people would be definite suck.. but NO MORE, right? : )

Ugh, yeah. Why couldn't we have been born rich? Then we wouldn't have to work. Bah.

But the storm clusters up in Maryland right now, heading for DC and Baltimore and above, so we're pretty much in the clear. I'm just going to ignore the big, ominous black clouds and the wild strikes of lightening swirling outside my house. *nods*

Cuz, ignorance is bliss, don'cha'know? XD

Your WM gave you a going away party??!! Stupid WM #1982! The only thing I did on my last day was work as usual.

Yeah, it was really sweet of them. The people there were generally really nice...the work however. :/ Not so much.

But beyond the tornado and the party, it was pretty much work as usual for me as well...
