*pokes around* Haven't been *here* in awhile. Lots of things have been happening recently, and it's a wee bit strange around home. Still haven't got a job yet. Admittedly not looking very hard at the moment, but now that I have two squirmy munchkins to look after, I'm going to need one just to keep them in the style which they deserve.
In other news, Travis is home, and enjoying some time off before he, too, looks for a job. Mom had surgery last Friday to take out her thyroid, because she had masses in it, but the surgeon was confident that it wasn't cancer. So she'll be home this week, which will more than likely spur me into looking seriously for a job. Just before she went to the hospital however, she got an email from her boss who told her to call into work, and she was promoted *over the phone*. Normally onlybad things happen over the phone. Mom thinks that they must have seen her resume online and realized that they were losing one of their best managers. Heh. And they were. The commute is really getting to her.
In other news, my aunt has a job at a the school attached to her church. But get this, she works 18 hours a week and is only considered part-time while the person "in charge of the art department" work only 15 hours a week, and most of that is *drama* classes, and is getting paid for FULL TIME WORK. And my aunt isn't allowed to do anything without the other person's consent. I say she should just quit. But, I don't think she will. At least not this year. I *do* think, however, that she should get a teaching certificate, and move on to public schools.
Recently, Storm decided to run away for a couple of days, which made us all sad, but he's back now. Thank god. And Brandon is staying out more and more. I think he's going to move out soon which will odd, but kind of a relief. He's being a bit of an ass recently, to everyone.
Anyhoo, just letting people know that I still exist and am still breathing.
