(no subject)

I just came bck from watching the new "Pride & Prejudice" with Jessi. I think I rather annoyed her by talking through bits of it. But I couldn't help it! Some of the scenes were just so...I don't want to say bad, because it wasn't bad, but I felt really bad for the some of the characters, especially the younger Bennett sisters, that I just had so do something. So I talked. Or whined. Or laughed. Heh. But I enjoyed it. I would never be able to sit through six hours of it, though. I couldn't even sit through the book! God, that book drove me nuts.

You know what I really do not understand? The "Colin Firth is Mr. Darcy and there can be no other before him" thing. Do we have to wait for him to die before anyone else can play him well in the minds of those who love him? I just don't get it. I really enjoyed the actor that played him in this movie. And Jane, I liked Jane quite a bit. Mr. Collins and Mr. Bingly were absolute dweebs, though.

Parking when we got back to R-MWC was interesting though. Heh. ^_^
