Anyway, in an effort to ignore my paper for a little while longer, Karlene and I went to see "Kingdom of Heaven". Though I overall enjoyed it, there must be some movie code in the universe that states that all epics should be boring. Maybe it's because I'm a woman and perhaps am not so in tune with all of the fighting - or, that's what I would say if my favorite film wasn't Black Hawk Down. (Also directed by Ridley Scott.) Though I did enjoy the fact that we didn't have to suffer through every aspect of a battle and through the whole bloody thing. 9_9 That would have really sucked.
I also think OB is better in this for one reason and one reason only - he doesn't talk much. Weird, yet true. Most of the time he's standing around, kinda looking insightful or something. But not talking. And that's a point up in my book.
