Grawr. My computer's seriously irritating me. What's the point of owning a laptop if you can't move the damn thing? I mean, just a simple little knock on the front of it will force it to shut down! I wonder if it has something to do with the different power output here...bah.

Anyhoo, not a whole lot has been going on here. Yesterday, Jessi, Karlene, and I went to London. Jessi and I had a specific place in mind to go (the Japan Center) but we made a few unplanned stops here and there. Like we wandered around Carnaby for awhile (got caught on film twice at least - that was fun!) Got royally lost and I muchly missed my camera. Can't believe I forgot it again! How come I can never seem to remember it when I want to? T_T After visiting the Japan Center (which was much smaller than I thought it was...) and buying a portable furigana dictionary (soooo cool! And a great help when I'm struggling with the kanji in my manga which my wonderful parents brought with them when they visited last week.) and toppo (bitter & black yummy =3) we went to The Natural History museum, where we saw a lot of bones and such. Later, we plan on going to see a Reduced Shakespeare Company play (either the History of the Bible or The Complete American History (abridged) or if that doesn't pan out, Les Miserables. Me, being a closet American History nut (a subject I vehemently hated in high school), want to see the American history one. I think it would be made doubly funny by the fact that we're in England. Karlene, however, wants to see the history of the Bible. We may just have to go twice. Heh. Its ok, though, the best available seats are only 17 pounds, which is nice.

Oh and Jessi - I figured out an abbreviation for you! "yomau nijuugo doyon ibaya" Heheheheh. ^_^

The other day, I was wandering around outside, no jacket, no scarf, no hat, no gloves, hell, I was wearing sandals for crying out loud, in a cold misting rain, thinking about my hands. For those who don't know, my hands have a sort of history to them. For the first two and half/almost three years I lived in Germany, where it gets amazingly cold in the winter. However, my mother, not realizing that it could be a problem, failed to put gloves on my tiny infant hands, thereby not only gaining the wrath of an elderly German frau, but the eternal frailty that exists in my hands today. They cannot withstand the cold, they'll start to hurt after thirty or so minutes, will start to get stiff, there's a weakness about the joints (not helped by my eternal knuckle cracking), and a delayed sensation/reaction with extreme changes in temperature usually brought on by water. Over the years because of my boneheadedness it has only gotten worse.

Anyway, as I mentioned, I was taking a walk and thinking about my hands as they started to hurt from the cold. (My mom likes to complain to me that I have the sense of a pea....after several instances like this one, I'm inclined to agree with her.) I was thinking as I walked along Next time, I'll know better. As if it was understood that there will be a next time. As if I have some sort of control over my own destiny and what happens when I die. As if it was given that I will have a "next time." That is what captures my attention the most: that I take for granted that there will be a next time in life. I never thought of myself as believing in reincarnation over, say, heaven, but I'm far more inclined to believe in it then I thought it seems. This is something that I've been noticing more and more about my way of thinking. If I see something, or hear of a person complaining about something they want to change for/about themselves, I'm tending to think that next time, they'll know better. That we all have a second third fourth or as many chances as we need to "get it right." Get what right, I'm not sure, and what happens after we get it right, again, I'm not sure.

Like I said, I blame anime for this. 9_9

I don't need religious revelations on top of my already scheduled school work, kthxbai! >_<

Hahah!
