It's not a big deal...here's the thing, you don't have to apply for any jobs that actually suit you. You *could* apply for an auto mechanic position, or a position that requires a commercial driver's license, or basically anything that you're not qualified for, and that fulfills your duty. Just fax your resume to two places you find in the classifieds once a week, and keep a list of the places you've contacted.
And I swear that a lot of your guilt will go away the second you get your first paycheck. :)
